Living with acid reflux can be hard enough, but when you add other problems to that, it can be downright life altering. However, what most people don’t realize is that as you age, you actually produce lower amounts of stomach acid, and that may be what is at the root of your gas indigestion problems. When there is not enough acid, food is not digested as quickly and can not move through your system. Instead, it sits in the stomach producing excess gas as a result. It’s a vicious circle.

If you think that gas indigestion problems might be what a concern for you, there are a few things you can do. One is to take a digestive enzyme supplement. That can help eliminate many of the problems associated with gas building up in your stomach that makes acid reflux worse.     Hi, i have been suffering from Acid reflux for the last 2 years…and can u believe that? its on daily basis. my life has become worsen.     i have been suffering with acid reflux for 5 years now.i recently had a egd done and they diagnosed me with a hiatus hernia? i had to quit smoking becauase it was burning so bad in my throat? i gave up eating just about anything sio i could be comfortable. i am still burning in my throat i dont now which way to turn please help me.
